DS Smith is now hiring a Category Manager for the North EMEA region.

About the role

We're looking for a Regional Category Manager to drive category strategy and growth across seven countries in the Nordic and Baltic region. This is an international role where you will:

• Co-lead the Annual Business Planning process for the region
• Identify local market opportunities and lead category planning
• Support value proposition development and marketing campaign localization
• Enable sales and customer engagement through insights and tailored initiatives
• Contribute to demand planning, innovation commercialization, and strategic projects

You'll be part of a commercial marketing team working across multiple countries, collaborating with senior stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with regional and EMEA strategies. Travel will be expected to connect with teams and customers across the region.

This role reports to Marketing Manager North EMEA, and can be based at either of our North EMEA offices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• Proven experience in category management, value proposition development, and sales enablement
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate insights into action
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
• Ability to influence and collaborate in a complex, international matrix organization
• Strategic mindset, results-driven, and passionate about customer-centric growth

This role requires excellent language skills, oral and written, in English as well as one of the Baltic or Nordic languages.

This is a permanent position with placement at one of our North EMEA offices, with occasional travels to other North EMEA sites.
