At Ericsson Silicon's ASIC IP Unit, we don't just adapt to the future—we create it. Our teams in Stockholm, Lund, and Austin are engineering the digital ASICs that will power the next generation of mobile networks. As we expand, we're looking for a dynamic Capability Manager to join our Program Management Office. This is a high-impact role where you'll work alongside program managers, financial controllers, line managers, and project portfolio controllers (PPCs) to optimise resources, streamline processes, and drive strategic decision-making. What You Will Do

• Lead headcount planning and associated processes (DIMS, HC Board) within ASIC IP.
• Support line managers and program teams with strategic resource planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Contribute to Monthly Resource Planning (MRP) and align workforce needs across Ericsson Silicon
• Provide data-driven insights on resource capacity, financial trends, and forecasting—helping leaders make informed decisions.
• Analyze and optimise workforce planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term goals.
• Maintain top-tier project portfolio reporting, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial and resource management.
• Drive capability planning, helping teams scale efficiently and effectively.
• Foster seamless collaboration between teams across Ericsson, ensuring we deliver on our commitments.

Skills you bring;

• Experience in capability management, project portfolio control, or a similar role, with a natural ability to bring efficiency and structure to processes.
• A good understanding of resource planning, program and project management, and financial analysis, helping to keep things well-organized and aligned with goals.
• Great communication and relationship-building skills make connecting with stakeholders and contributing to meaningful discussions easy.
• A thoughtful and analytical approach, able to spot patterns, find solutions, and turn insights into practical steps.
• Comfort in managing multiple projects, ensuring everything stays on track and moves forward smoothly.
• Familiarity with financial models and budgeting, with an ability to link financial planning to overall business direction.
• A genuine appreciation for diversity, inclusion, and innovation, helping to create a welcoming and inspiring workplace for everyone.
