Avantor is currently looking for a motivated Service Assistant to join our expanding team at the GoCo Health Innovation Centre in Mölndal in January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a dynamic and diverse work environment within the life sciences industry.
About the Role
In this hands-on position, you will provide operational support to various laboratories on-site, with a strong focus on logistics and shipment handling.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving and shipping goods , including unpacking consumables and chemicals
- Managing and disposing of lab waste
- Restocking lab materials
- Delivering clean glassware and lab clothing
- Simpler purchasing activities , such as placing and following up on orders
- Calibrating and cleaning lab equipment (e.g., pipettes)
- Participating in the creation of work instructions
Who Are We Looking For?
The ideal candidate has a logistics background , with hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory handling . You may currently be working in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain , and looking to transition into a support role towards laboratories. No scientific education is required- full internal training will be provided.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Customer-minded, service-oriented, and highly motivated
- Detail-oriented and proactive
- Experienced in logistics or shipment handling is a bonus
- Comfortable working in a hospital or lab environment (preferred)
- Fluent in English and preferably Swedish
- Organized, flexible, and a strong team player

You'll be joining a collaborative and customer-focused team of 8 5 , including a Campus Service Lead, Campus Service Assistant, Campus Service Purchase Coordinator and Campus Service Coordinator.
