Are you a data-driven and communicative Business Controller interested to work with financial advisory and analysis supporting Group Technology? We are now looking for an experienced Business Controller.

About the job

You will be the responsible Business Controller for your assigned areas within Group Technology, providing your stakeholders with financial advice and ensuring the fulfilment of financial Targets. Areas of responsibility include Target/Budget setting, continuous forecasting and analysis, including timely and relevant reporting taking into account the ever changing circumstances. You need to be an active and engaged partner to the management of the areas you support and take a keen interest in their activities and operations. Having a profound understanding of your areas and their opportunities and challenges, is crucial for relevant financial advice and reporting.

You will be part of a team of business controllers, operating in a collaborative setting where you will work for common fundamentals and best practices together with your colleagues. You will also participate in different projects. You are expected to actively contribute to the continuous improvement of common controlling processes, including the advancement of an increasingly efficient and innovative use of data and related reporting tools, such as Business intelligence, BI, solutions, Excel and other Financial IT systems.

Who are you?

You have a university degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting with relevant work experience from the controlling area or similar fields. Experience from working in, or close to, management teams is an advantage, preferably in a Technology oriented organisation. You also have strong analytical skills with the ability to work effortlessly with large data sets, drawing conclusions and conveying these in an efficient and understandable manner. Past experience related to Data Analytics will be an advantage.

You have a structured and problem solving mind-set, focusing on the solutions rather than the problems. You can combine an attention to details whilst still seeing the big picture. You also have a proactive approach with a strong drive to deliver in all aspects of your work. A positive attitude with an ambition to expand your knowledge and an enthusiasm to contribute are also important traits in your personality. I also expect you to be service minded with good communication and presentation skills combined with the ability to establish and develop relationships with colleagues across divisions and countries.
