Verisure are looking for a skilled BI Specialist with expertise in PowerBI to join our team. The purpose of this role is to maintain and enhance our existing reporting systems in PowerBI , while also playing a key role in developing new reports and analytics solutions. You will work within the PowerBI and Snowflake ecosystem to create and implement new solutions in our designated applications .

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background , particularly in Power BI and SQL, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights . They should be proactive , detail-oriented , and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. As a team player , the candidate will also be comfortable training colleagues and end- users , ensuring that everyone can make the most of the BI tools and applications .
The BI team
The BI team consists of two senior BI engineers /specialists who work closely together , supported by the country and cluster teams (BI-North). You will have opportunities for collaboration and mutual support within the team to drive success in your role .

- Develop , improve , and optimize reports , applications , and data flows to ensure that they remain relevant and efficient .
- Contribute to the creation of a future-proof , maintainable Business Intelligence platform that meets evolving business needs .
- Analyze data from various applications , summarize results , and draw actionable conclusions to support business decisions .
- Train colleagues and end- users on BI tools and applications , ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to leverage data effectively .
- Empower users across the organization to create their own simple reports and analyses through intuitive BI tools .
Candidate Profile

- Experience :
At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with Power BI, including expertise in data modeling , creating measures , designing reports , and providing user training .
- Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in SQL, with a preference for experience in the Snowflake environment. The ideal candidate should be able to write efficient queries and work seamlessly with large data sets. Proficiency in Python is a plus.
- Languages :
Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken . The ability to communicate effectively in both languages is crucial for collaborating with teams and stakeholders .
- Project Management:
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and meeting deadlines. The candidate should be able to prioritize tasks, work independently , and ensure timely delivery of projects .
