About the Assignment
We are looking for an Automation Engineer to support the development of automation solutions for packaging equipment. In this role, you will work end-to-end with programming, testing and commissioning, ensuring the overall functionality in close alignment with equipment engineering. The environment is project-based and cross-functional, where you will contribute to complete equipment solutions together with a scrum team.
The main technical focus is Rockwell Studio 5000 Logix Designer, and the assignment may also include customer support, troubleshooting and training of customer personnel on delivered systems and modules.
Job DescriptionAnalyze requirements and contribute to system design for automation solutions
Develop, modify and maintain PLC programs to meet project needs
Create and update HMI and database solutions connected to the equipment
Plan and execute testing and commissioning to verify functionality and quality
Support troubleshooting activities and provide technical customer support when needed
Deliver automation training for customer personnel on systems/modules
Collaborate in a cross-functional scrum team to deliver complete equipment solutions
RequirementsUniversity degree
Some years of experience within automation engineering
Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English
PLC programming experience
Experience within mechatronics and motion
Experience across the development process: documentation, development, test and commissioning
Experience from large companies
Nice to haveRockwell experience
Beckhoff experience
HMI experience
Python
Previous experience from similar packaging equipment environments
