Biamp, a leading manufacturer of professional electronics for use in the installed audio and video communications market, is currently recruiting for a new Applications Engineer to join our highly regarded European Customer Experience team.
Biamp Applications Engineers assist customers with technical questions, product and design problems. The position will require daily interaction with Biamp customers, consultants and sales representatives, dealing with a variety of technical questions and issues.
How you'll contribute:
- Provide expert and friendly technical support to Biamp's customers by phone, email and chat
- Troubleshoot and resolve a broad range of technical issues
- Coordinate returns and repairs of Biamp products
- Accurately process and record customer interactions using case tracking software
- Escalate issues to Engineering or other departments as required
- Contribute to Biamp's online knowledgebase
- Assist with product demonstrations for Biamp customers
- Develop your AV skillset with an industry-leading manufacturer
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
The successful candidate should have:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the Audio/Video/Control Systems industry
- Relevant degree or professional qualifications desirable
- Good foundational knowledge of audiovisual systems and solutions
- Proven troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish language
- A serious and enthusiastic desire to provide reliable customer service
Work Environment:
- Full-time at the Biamp office in Stockholm
- Occasional travel within Europe may be required
