About the Position

Sting is looking for an AI & Digital Innovation Lead to drive our use of AI and automation across the organisation. You will work at the intersection of business and technology. This role focuses on identifying high-impact opportunities, shaping solutions, helping and enabling our teams adopt AI and new ways of working.

You will work closely with team leads across operations, programs, marketing, and the investment team, acting as a bridge between business needs and practical AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Automation

Drive the design and continuous improvement of AI-powered workflows across the organisation, from how we process and evaluate companies to how we run internal operations.

Look for opportunities to simplify team processes and create reliable automated workflows using tools like Make, n8n, or similar

Evaluate emerging AI tools and bring forward concrete recommendations on where they create the most value for Sting.

AI Adoption & Innovation Initiatives

Champion AI adoption internally into day-to-day processes, fostering a culture of experimentation, and supporting the team through onboarding, guidance and documentation.

Play a central role in the design and delivery of internal AI challenges and workshops, helping colleagues discover practical applications in their own work.

Actively contribute to the development of innovation initiatives, including potential external partnerships with technology companies, working closely with the heads of marketing and programs to shape and move these forward.

Scouting & Inbound Pipeline

Own and evolve our AI-powered scouting platform, building workflows that analyze and structure large volumes of ecosystem data to surface and evaluate promising early-stage companies.

Use automation and digital channels not only to find relevant companies, but to attract them, strengthening how Sting is positioned to the founders we want to reach.

Contribute to the development of smarter matching capabilities that connect startups with the right investors, customers, and partners.

CRM & Data Infrastructure

Own and manage HubSpot as the single source of truth for all startup, investor, partner, and alumni relationships, maintaining data quality, pipeline structure, and workflow integrity.

Own the organisation's technology tools, defining which tools the organisation uses, ensuring best practices for adoption, and keeping our stack lean and effective.

Build and maintain data platforms that keep information clean, structured, and actionable across the organisation.

Work with coaches and program managers to ensure consistent data practices and process adherence.

Identify gaps in our data infrastructure and drive initiatives to address them.

Experience & Skills

7+ years of experience in digital marketing, digital innovation, or a related technology role

Experience implementing automation and AI tools in a business context (no/low-code platforms such as Make, n8n, or similar)

Proven experience applying AI tools to real business challenges.

Strong business understanding and process improvement mindset

Advanced HubSpot knowledge: pipelines, custom properties, workflows, reporting, and integrations. Experience with other CRMs is a bonus.

Strong data skills: structuring, cleaning, and drawing actionable insights from complex datasets

Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and support adoption of new tools across teams
