Accounts Payable Assistant

We now have an open role as an Accounts Payable Assistant.

Task and responsibilities:

Daily admin of supplier invoices and payments

Reconciliation of accounts payable accounts

Register supplier invoices

Register the invoices with correct account number, cost center and purchase order number

Making sure the supplier invoices are approved in time for month closing and before the invoices are due.

Register new suppliers and update supplier register

Supplier payments and admin

Handle reminders and collection errands

Register Fixed assets

Monthly closing of supplier ledger

Handle different VAT issues on supplier invoices

Contact with suppliers on invoice errors

Qualifications

Experience from a similar role

Advantage if you have post-secondary education in finance, accounting etc.

It is an advantage if you have experience with following systems: Microsoft dynamics Navision, Entré, Exflow and Office package

Accounting knowledge

Structured, solution-oriented, meticulous and has a good level of service
