We are now recruiting an Accountant and AR Coordinator to our Finance team at our Head Office in Stockholm.
Filippa K is a Swedish fashion house born in Stockholm and rooted in the 90s. Founded in 1993 by Filippa Knutsson, Karin Hellners and Patrik Kihlborg, the heritage label played an instrumental role in pioneering the now-iconic look of effortless Scandinavian minimalism. Today, Filippa K has become a household name with an international presence - offering a complete wardrobe of womenswear and menswear staples that are designed to last. In 2024, the brand began an exciting new chapter with the appointment of Anna Teurnell as Creative Lead. The Role
As Accountant, you are confident in your in-depth knowledge of accounting and are ready to take full ownership of the accounting for multiple Filippa K subsidiaries from day one, including day-to-day bookkeeping, month- and year-end closing work, audit, reporting, and tax preparation. You strive for operational excellence in your work and look for opportunities to make improvements to internal routines and processes. You are communicative and cooperate closely with your colleagues on the Finance team.
You are also responsible for Accounts Receivable coordination, including invoicing, payments, credit checks, customer inquiries, and payment reminders. This position requires cooperation with the Wholesale sales team and communication with customers. Additionally, the position requires reconciliation work in connection with financial statements, ensuring that all accounts are accurate and up to date for proper financial reporting.
This is a full-time, permanent role. You will be located in Stockholm as part of the Finance team and report to the CFO.

Your responsibilities will include:
Accounting
- All accounting related work for multiple Filippa K subsidiaries.
- Month-end closing work, including balance reconciliations.
- Preparation of VAT/moms and tax.
- Year-end closing work and participation in external audits.
- Reporting
- Payments
AR - Accounts Receivable
- Managing ongoing invoicing and accounting of customer invoice payments and investigating incorrect payments.
- Active reminder management of overdue invoices and communication with customers.
- Booking of doubtful receivables.
- Credit checks of new customers.
- Coordination with Wholesale sales team regarding customers and orders.
- Book-closing work/monthly reconciliations.
The experience and skills you'll bring to the role are
- Relevant experience as an accountant.
- Experience with accounts receivable.
- University-level education in Finance or Accounting.
- Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Business Central is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
